The Florida Venture Forum in partnership with Space Florida invites you to attend the first Florida Aerospace Capital Forum on November 14th, 2018 at the Guidewell Innovation Center in Lake Nona, Florida. From 1:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.
The purpose of the event will be tobroaden the spectrum of Early Stage Florida-based aerospace companies and entrepreneurs, (as well as non-Florida entities with commitments to relocate), while engaging the industry with the Forum investment community, including,private equity, venture capital and angel investors.
In addition to the opportunity to present before an audience of active equity investors, presenting companies meeting designated criteria will compete for theAccelerating Innovation (AI) Award, offered by Space Florida.The AI Award offers a cash prizes totaling $100,000 ($50,000 to the Grand Prize Winner, $30,000 to 1st Runner-up & $20,000 to 2nd place) to eligible Florida companies or those companies seeking to relocate or establish presence in Florida. Please note the following eligible areas for consideration:
Preferred industries: Software, cybersecurity, data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, spacecraft operations, mission planning, command & control, satellite communications, advanced aerospace materials, advanced manufacturing and engineering services, satellite/spacecraft/aircraft design, payload design and innovations, mechanical/electrical component design, information technology, robotics– parts, design and assembly, unmanned aerial vehicles, surveillance,3D printing, radiation protection, reconnaissance, and missile development.
There is no cost for companies to apply. Presenter applications will be reviewed and companies chosen by a selection committee made up of active venture capitalists and investors. Selected companies will be required to pay a registration fee of $99 for the first conference attendee and a $25 exhibit table fee.

The Florida Venture Forum does not accept hard copy submissions. The Forum shall have the sole and absolute discretion to withdraw an accepted presenter application for any reason, including discovery of discrepancies in information provided by applicant to the Forum. Upon submission the application becomes the property of the Florida Venture Forum, Inc. Previous A&A applicants/& or winners will not be precluded from applying to present at the Pilot.
Due to space limitations early submissions are welcomed and encouraged.
