The Florida Venture Forum, in partnership with Space Florida invites you to attend the first Florida Aerospace Capital Forum on November 14, 2018 at the Guidewell Innovation Center in Lake Nona, Florida. From 1:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.
The purpose of the event will be to broaden the spectrum of Early Stage Florida-based aerospace companies and entrepreneurs, (as well as non-Florida entities with commitments to relocate), while engaging the industry with the Forum investment community, including, private equity, venture capital and angel investors.
In addition to the opportunity to present before an audience of active equity investors, presenting companies meeting designated criteria will compete for the Accelerating Innovation (AI) Award, offered by Space Florida. The AI Award offers a cash prizes totaling $100,000 ($50,000 to the Grand Prize Winner, $30,000 to 1st Runner-up & $20,000 to 2nd place) to eligible Florida companies or those companies seeking to relocate or establish presence in Florida. Please note the following eligible areas for consideration:
Preferred industries: Software, cybersecurity, data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, spacecraft operations, mission planning, command & control, satellite communications, advanced aerospace materials, advanced manufacturing and engineering services, satellite/spacecraft/aircraft design, payload design and innovations, mechanical/electrical component designinformation technologyrobotics – parts, design and assemblyunmanned aerial vehiclessurveillance, 3D printingradiation protection, reconnaissance, and missile development.
